Gentle Support After Childbirth

Motherhood does not always feel joyful—and that truth deserves to be heard without judgment. Many women experience emotional overwhelm, loneliness, anxiety, and sadness after childbirth, often intensified by fear-based narratives, lack of clear guidance, and the pressure to “be strong.” At Jhansi Women Care, we recognize how isolating this phase can feel, even when loved ones are around.

This free postpartum depression support group was created to offer a safe, compassionate space where mothers can share, listen, and heal together. Guided with empathy and understanding, the group focuses on emotional reassurance, honest conversations, and gentle support—reminding every mother that she is not alone, broken, or failing.

Our aim is simple: to replace silence with support, fear with understanding, and loneliness with connection—so every mother feels seen, heard, and supported as she navigates her postpartum journey.

The global need for human milk: The WHO/UNICEF recommends exclusive breastfeeding (EBF) for 6 months and continuing until age two or beyond. The goal is a 60% EBF rate by 2030; the current global rate is 48%.
